This document serves as an addendum to the General Plan, specifically addressing flood hazards within the City of Walnut. It details various flood hazard types, including urban flooding, dam/levee failure, and mud/debris flows, and outlines associated risks. The strategic goals and policies focus on minimizing flood risks through measures such as strategic facility location, continuous enforcement and updating of flood regulations, inter-agency coordination, and public education on flood safety.

The City Council resolved to waive fees and charges for Temporary Use Permits for business operations, allowing them to temporarily provide services outside or via pick-up in response to COVID-19. This waiver is effective until December 31, 2020, but the City Council retains the option to extend this deadline through another resolution. Additionally, the resolution addresses amendments to fees and charges for services provided by the Community Development Department, including planning, environmental, subdivision, and code enforcement fees.
