Additionally, the board considered a motion for board realignment and discussed elementary and middle school enrollment projections and planning for the upcoming school year. The meeting concluded with the recognition of the teacher of the six weeks for the special education department.

The committee reviewed the Abigail's Arms program, which provides educational content on personal body safety, bully prevention, and digital safety, and discussed scheduling these sessions around state testing. Additionally, the committee evaluated the Wise Choices program for human sexuality instruction, focusing on abstinence and boundaries, and voted to recommend its implementation for eighth-grade students pending final school board approval.

The Board of Trustees held a meeting to address various financial and administrative matters. Key discussion topics included the review of accounts payable, financial reports, and administrative briefings from principals, the athletic director, and the superintendent regarding attendance and budget updates. The board approved the resolution for the creation of the VVISD (Vista) Hybrid Learning Academy, the purchase of secondary library books, and Chapter 21 teacher contracts. Additionally, the board conducted an executive session to discuss personnel matters and recognized students.
