The board received reports from foundation officers regarding board applications and project balances, and from the director concerning upcoming manager interviews and scholarship application progress. Financial reporting highlighted the foundation's operating surplus and asset distribution. The board tabled a proposed statement of work for immigration-related legal services pending further clarification on fee structures and implementation protocols. Additionally, revisions to multiple policies regarding scholarship management, stewardship fees for online donations, and fundraising activities were approved subject to legal review. The meeting also included an update on the Oliver W. Connor Estate legal and property matters.

The committee reviewed and signed the annual report for the preceding fiscal year. Additionally, a facilities update was provided covering various renovation and construction projects, including the student services building, administration building, vocational technology building, and the physical education complex replacement.

The board meeting included several key agenda items such as the approval of the closed session agenda, reports of actions taken in closed session regarding a personnel resignation, and a recognition ceremony for a former board trustee. Public comments were received from members of the community regarding the upcoming Founders Day celebration and available social services, including resources for housing, mental health, and employment. Additionally, the board discussed and addressed future agenda item requests and reviewed meeting minutes from previous sessions, with specific corrections noted for one set of minutes.

The committee meeting focused on a presentation regarding local hiring goals and labor agreements for campus construction projects, specifically the PE Complex and Visual and Performing Arts building. Discussions included the upcoming 2023-2024 annual report submission to the District Board, a comprehensive facilities progress report detailing various building renovations, and planning for upcoming groundbreaking ceremonies. Additionally, the committee addressed potential collaboration with the student housing committee to enhance information sharing.
