Fremont School District 79 Board of Education Regular Meeting
The Board recognized student achievements in poetry and STEM competitions. The meeting included strategic updates on Social-Emotional Learning, student leadership, and the development of district Artificial Intelligence guidelines. Financial reports for expenditures and revenues were presented, and the board approved joining the Educational Benefits Cooperative for insurance renewals. Additionally, the board approved various agreements for professional services, engineering, and playground equipment, as well as Memorandums of Understanding regarding video surveillance in gymnasiums and reciprocal reporting with the local sheriff's department. Several updated policies underwent a first reading, and the disposal of district personal property was authorized.
