This document advocates for a 100% smoke, tobacco, and vape-free policy on college campuses. It outlines institutional benefits such as cost savings, an improved professional image, and the preparation of students for tobacco-free workplaces. The rationale also details significant public health concerns, the aggressive marketing tactics of the tobacco industry, the environmental impact of tobacco production and waste, and the severe health consequences associated with tobacco use, aiming to persuade stakeholders to adopt the policy for the well-being of the college community.
