The discussion included projected retirement timelines for key personnel and the associated scheduling of promotional and entry examinations. Additionally, the Commission reviewed the status of collective bargaining contracts and addressed old business items, such as the creation of rules for fire department lateral hires, seniority calculation methodology, and a review of Civil Service rules within the city charter and ordinances.
