BoardEast Longmeadow Historical Commission Monthly Meeting
The commission reviewed several operational and planning items, including the handling of memorial donations for the Behan family and approval of expenses for reception food and time capsule event costs. Progress on the History Room archival project and the status of school records were discussed. The commission also planned upcoming activities, such as a museum opening, the purchase of new exterior bunting and a historical flag, and a walkthrough at the High School. Additional discussions included a review of museum land history, a recent visit to the Agawam Historical Firehouse Museum, book recommendations, and a request for editing assistance on oral history files.
