It also covers assurances of compliance with state and federal guidelines, facilities for special education, and program profiles detailing various support services and placements within the district.

The Norristown Area School District's Comprehensive Plan for 2024-2027 focuses on student achievement and growth, community engagement, climate and culture, and facilities and the learning environment. Key goals include increasing student proficiency and growth, enhancing community involvement, fostering a positive school climate, and developing a comprehensive facilities master plan. The plan emphasizes evidence-based strategies such as MTSS, aligned curriculum, family engagement partnerships, and PBIS to achieve these priorities.

The Norristown Area School District's Educational Equity Action Plan (EEAP) prioritizes educational equity based on fairness and justice. The plan focuses on eliminating institutional barriers, allocating resources equitably, and creating equal opportunities for all students to achieve positive academic and life outcomes. Key areas of focus include: ensuring equitable access to resources; fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment; building partnerships and community engagement; using data to inform decision-making; applying an equity lens to policies and practices; promoting cultural proficiency; enhancing workforce diversity; providing equitable professional development; ensuring equitable student access to programs and opportunities; and implementing a culturally relevant and responsive curriculum. The plan aims to create a system where students' identities do not predict their success and where all students have the opportunity to thrive.
