This Strategic Plan outlines a roadmap for the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) to capitalize on new opportunities and engage Alaskan communities, serving Alaska and the world. It is built around seven key goals: educating students for active citizenship, promoting UAF as Alaska's premier research enterprise through partnerships, serving Alaska's diverse communities, improving student transitions across the education continuum, expanding targeted graduate programs, enhancing competitive advantage by attracting and retaining top talent, and developing innovative resource management approaches to support its mission and future challenges.

The meeting included a UAF Leadership Update, discussion of Rural Student Outreach, and reports from the Executive Committee, Executive Director, and various chapters including Hockey and Fairbanks. Committee reports were given on scholarships, legislative matters, awards, governance, and finance, including a discussion of the FY23 budget. The board also discussed Nanook Network ambassador training and heard from Celaire Voice Studio, a 2022 Benefactor Fund recipient.
