During the public comment session, residents expressed congratulations to the newly elected officials, shared concerns regarding the financial implications and potential environmental issues (such as wetlands and foundation stability) associated with the planned new school construction project, and questioned accountability for past maintenance deferrals. A procedural note was made regarding the subsequent special meeting dedicated to the high school project.

The meeting included special recognitions, such as the Lift Character Awards for students demonstrating responsibility, and recognition of board members for their service.
