This document outlines Richardson ISD's vision for Career and Technical Education (CTE), aiming to inspire and prepare the next generation's workforce in alignment with the district's Northstar goal and graduate profile. The strategy emphasizes engaging students in high-quality, rigorous, and relevant programs of study developed with business and industry partners. Key initiatives include 31 programs across 13 career clusters, comprehensive work-based learning experiences, and the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PEK) program. The plan's objective is to produce college, career, and military-ready graduates who earn industry-based certifications and associate degrees, providing them with critical skills and real-world connections.
