Church Revitalization
This document presents a comprehensive framework for church revitalization, emphasizing a shift from unhealthy trends to a 'new normal' of health and purpose. It outlines five interconnected phases: assessment, identification, vision development, adjustment, and implementation. The plan highlights the critical importance of understanding a church's core mission and continually evaluating its activities against biblical standards. Key priorities include fostering spiritual discipline, clear membership expectations, and a unified, goal-oriented approach to ministry, in contrast to stagnant, directionless efforts. The ultimate aim is to equip churches to fulfill the Great Commission and bring glory to God through continuous growth and adaptation.

The provided text, a transcript of a talk by Dr. Chuck Lawless, outlines a comprehensive model for church revitalization aimed at building a biblically healthy church. This model establishes a theological foundation and six core purposes: exalting God through worship, evangelizing the world through proclamation and missions, equipping believers through teaching and mentoring, edifying others through ministry and service, encountering God through prayer, and encouraging one another through fellowship. It emphasizes the practical application of faith in personal life, family, church community, and the workplace, with the ultimate vision of global disciple-making and taking the gospel to all nations.

Southeastern Center For Pastoral Leadership And Preaching Prayer Session
The session, part of the Authenticity Series, focused on theological discussions regarding prayer and spiritual warfare. Key topics included the biblical foundation of these subjects, emphasizing God's sovereignty and authority over the enemy, contrasting this with giving excessive attention to the devil, which can lead to fear or obsession. The discussion highlighted that believers win battles through weakness and trust in God's control, not their own strength. Advice was given to pastors and leaders to maintain biblical balance by focusing on expository teaching and emphasizing drawing near to God as the primary response to spiritual conflict, recognizing that victory is already secured through the cross.

Southeastern Seminary Vision 2017-2027
Southeastern Seminary's vision outlines the defining characteristics, or 'marks,' of a Great Commission Seminary over the next decade. The institution is committed to a global focus, training leaders and fostering diversity; upholding strong doctrinal convictions based on biblical inerrancy, infallibility, and complementarianism; providing expansive ministerial preparation through undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs with an emphasis on pastoral training; and cultivating spiritual vibrancy through personal evangelism, missions, prayer, and discipleship. The overall purpose is to equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission.
