The board meeting included a presentation and approval to adopt Amplify Math Instructional Materials for core instruction in grades/courses TK-Algebra 2. The recommendation was made after presentation of our TK-8 and high school math adoption committees' recommendation for the adoption of Amplify Math's Instructional Materials.

The strategic plan of Wildomar Elementary School is centered on empowering students to achieve academic excellence and personal growth through SMART goals. It aims to cultivate responsible, respectful, and safe individuals who contribute to a dynamic world. The plan emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and alignment with the Lake Elsinore Unified School District's mission.

The Lake Elsinore Unified School District's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2024-2025 school year outlines six district priorities: Academic Excellence, Student Well-Being, Family/Community Engagement, Educational Environment, Empower Staff, and Effective Governance. The plan focuses on improving academic outcomes in English Language Arts and Mathematics, addressing areas of low performance identified in the CA Dashboard. Specific actions include improving teaching and learning, closing achievement gaps, and enhancing student well-being through improved school culture, family engagement, and reduced suspension rates. The plan also emphasizes resource optimization, including the strategic use of federal ESSA funds (Titles I-IV) to supplement state and local funding, aligning with state priorities and the district's broader strategic goals. The Lake Elsinore Unified School District's 2024-25 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) focuses on improving student outcomes across four key areas: (1) Increasing academic excellence by improving literacy and math support, preparing students for college and careers, and providing equitable access to technology; (2) Enhancing student engagement and community participation by mitigating chronic absenteeism, providing comprehensive mental health and socioemotional support, and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment; (3) Ensuring effective educational environments by maintaining appropriately assigned and fully credentialed teachers, ensuring equitable access to technology and resources, and maintaining good or better FIT ratings for school sites; and (4) Expanding opportunities by providing additional support in literacy and math through professional development, and addressing the needs of students at Keith McCarthy Academy and Ortega High School. The plan outlines specific goals, actions, and budget allocations to achieve these outcomes, emphasizing equity and addressing the needs of diverse student populations, including English learners, low-income students, and foster youth.

The Lakeside High School Schoolwide Action Plan (SPSA) outlines three key growth goals for the 2023-2025 period. Goal #1, Engagement, aims to foster a positive school community by decreasing suspensions across various student subgroups while maintaining access to resources and technology. Goal #2, Academic Achievement, focuses on improving student outcomes in ELA and Math, increasing English Learner proficiency, and enhancing college/career readiness through increased A-G completion rates and graduation rates. Goal #3, Intervention/Acceleration, prioritizes providing high-quality intervention and acceleration opportunities to address learning loss and promote student success. The plan details specific actions, implementers, timelines, and targeted subgroups for each goal, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and collaborative efforts to achieve these objectives.
