The board convened for a special meeting to discuss the superintendent's evaluation in an executive session.

The Board discussed various reports including the status of the educator evaluation and development plan, professional learning status, and a district profile and performance report. Several policy updates concerning non-discrimination for students, personnel, and the community were reviewed for approval. Other business included accepting gifts, addressing a personnel resignation, and reviewing non-union salary recommendations for the upcoming year.

The board meeting included the announcement of a new associate principal at the high school, highlights of student achievements and grant awards across various district schools, and an update on capital project funding. Additionally, the board recognized Teacher Appreciation Week and discussed the launch of a new 'bookend march' graduation tradition. A presentation was provided regarding the successful first year of the full-day preschool program, which operates as a learning lab for high school students interested in early childhood education.

The meeting featured student spotlights on the high school girls' basketball team's season and a presentation regarding a livestream event with the International Space Station. The board received an overview of the K-12 health curriculum, the capital projects process, and the annual report on indoor air quality. Additionally, a new textbook was proposed for adoption, personnel resignations were noted, and several board policies regarding student discipline, confidentiality, curriculum exemptions, and parental access to instructional material were discussed and approved.
