Administrative reports were provided regarding department operations, grant applications including the Comprehensive Plan, and updates on ongoing community projects like the Onoville camp store and various infrastructure grants. Members also discussed upcoming trainings and relevant community events.

The Board of Legislators conducted a meeting where they recognized two students for their success in a national TV production competition. Key legislative actions included authorizing a contract for engineering consultant services for the 2027 Bridge Painting Program, approving ancillary services for the Department of Nursing Homes, and adjusting appropriation accounts for computer equipment at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The Board authorized grant applications for public safety communication and interoperable communication programs, and approved a new integrated records management system for the County Clerk's Office. Additionally, the Board authorized contracts for residential foster care, approved the sale of tax title property in Olean, recognized class valedictorians and salutatorians, and commemorated the 250th anniversary of the United States. A privilege of the floor update was provided regarding a recent decision concerning the Alle-Catt Wind Farm noise-protection conditions.

The Board of Health meeting focused on tick-borne disease surveillance, including the prevalence of Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis, as well as emerging threats like Powassan virus and Alpha-gal Syndrome. Prevention measures and clinical trial data for a Lyme disease vaccine were discussed. Additionally, the board considered a proposal for a new local permit law requiring vape retailers to register with the Health Department to strengthen enforcement against illegal sales. Other topics included nursing and environmental health reports, such as elevated blood lead levels in children, rabies prophylaxis, mosquito surveillance initiatives, and ongoing water infrastructure improvement projects.

The Board of Legislators addressed several administrative and operational agenda items, including the approval of bridge maintenance and deck sealing contracts, the authorization of a household hazardous waste collection program, and the award of bus and van service contracts.
