Ozark City Council Special Meeting
The City Council held a special meeting to discuss the potential sale of city properties at 300 North First Street and 218 West Street. The council discussed whether to authorize public input on these items, ultimately approving a five-minute limit for public comments. Concerns were raised by a member of the public regarding the transparency of property sales and the lack of formal resolutions for certain transactions. The council reviewed the bids and discussed the importance of ensuring that any sold property is actively developed rather than used for storage, ultimately voting not to accept the $50,000 bid for the property at this time to allow for further deliberation on development restrictions.
