The board also received an update on English Learners Supports, 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 District Goals, 2025-2026 301 Goals and Site Leadership Goals. An executive session was held.
The meeting included a consent agenda item regarding the contract renewal for supplemental educational resources, including online programs, digital downloads, ebooks, CDs, and apps. The recommendation was to approve a $2,000,000 contract renewal to provide supplemental software resources for various classrooms, sites, and departments across the District. The original RFP was sent to 4145 vendors, and the Purchasing Department received 93 proposal responses with 575 programs. The evaluation committee found 74 offers, consisting of 476 programs, acceptable for award. The contract renewal represents the second year of a potential five-year contract.
