Imperial Irrigation District Regular Meeting
The Board discussed and acted upon several items, including the adoption of resolutions approving revisions to various Board policies and declaring a local emergency regarding the August 2026 Monsoon Event. Significant time was dedicated to monitoring reports for policies related to the General Manager, General Counsel, Internal Auditor, and Board Secretary relationships. The Board also reviewed revisions to Time-Of-Use rate schedules for agricultural and winter rates, scheduled future public rate hearings, and reviewed the 2026 Annual Work Plan. Additionally, the Board conducted a review of the Summer Internship Program and held a closed session to discuss litigation, threats to public services, labor negotiations, and a performance evaluation for the General Manager.
