Hill Street, which was denied due to concerns about cleanup timelines and neighborhood impact. Another public hearing approved a variance request for an eight-foot fence at 301 N. Major St. The next meeting was scheduled for June 18.

The council meeting addressed several key issues. A public hearing was held for Ordinance 20-03, which budgets revenues and expenses for the fiscal year. The council approved the budget, discussed the economic impact of the coronavirus shutdown on the city's finances, and approved resolutions for temporary road closures for parades.
