The strategic plan of Lincoln Academy focuses on empowering students to SOAR by encouraging them to serve others, achieve individually and collaboratively, overcome challenges, and be ready to learn, contribute, create, and lead with their strengths, ultimately preparing them for life.

The board meeting included discussions and actions on various agenda items. The K-4 Language Arts Curriculum Recommendation was approved, pending any parental comments. An update was provided on the progress of grant writers. The February financials were reviewed and approved. Modifications to the 2025-2026 Fee Schedule/Spend Plan were reviewed. There was a faculty and staff outreach update, including discussion of the sunshine cart event and end-of-year teacher recognition. The date for the annual 5K fundraiser was changed to May 2, 2025. An update was given on the Capital Campaign for Anniversary. Concerns were raised regarding the potential overload of assessments in classrooms. Proposed salary/hourly increases for FY 26 were discussed, and approval was given for instructional employees and a part-time elementary counselor. The board discussed adding a fundraising button to all Lincoln Academy payments/checkout pages on the website and the need to emphasize core values and goals in interviews. The board also convened a closed meeting to discuss ongoing legal issues and the character and competency of employees.
