The Common Council authorized the Commissioner of Public Works and the Chief of Police to close streets and intersections necessary for the Run 4 Downtown event. Additionally, the Council granted permission for the sale of beer and wine during the event, contingent upon the fulfillment of specific insurance and agreement requirements, and authorized the Mayor to sign the necessary State Liquor Authority applications. The resolution also temporarily lifted the City's open container ordinance and permitted the race to proceed in accordance with Department of Health and CDC requirements.
