St Thomas University's "Pursue Excellence Strategic Vision" is a comprehensive nine-year plan designed to elevate the institution to become "the great Catholic University of the South." The vision is structured into three consecutive three-year phases: "Building to Excellence" (years 1-3), "Focusing on Excellence" (years 4-6), and "Sustaining Excellence" (years 7-9). The initial three-year phase, "Building to Excellence," focuses on four core pillars: excellence in intellectual discovery, student experiences, strategic partnerships, and operational management. This strategic approach aims to foster academic distinction, enhance holistic student development, cultivate robust community and global relationships, ensure financial stability, and optimize institutional efficiency, ultimately striving for recognition as a top 20 Catholic University in the nation.
