The plan emphasizes maintaining previously approved institutional square footage and residential unit totals, while making reallocations across phases.

Concordia University Irvine State Of The University Address
The State of the University Address for Concordia University Irvine, delivered in October 2020, provides an overview of the institution's current status and future aspirations. Key highlights include strong graduate enrollment growth, successful COVID-19 mitigation efforts, and campus improvements, despite a decline in traditional undergraduate enrollment. The address outlines future directions with a focus on launching new academic programs in engineering, nursing, and counseling; expanding international partnerships; reorganizing student affairs for enhanced student experiences; and upgrading campus facilities. The long-term vision aims for Concordia University Irvine to become the premier Lutheran university of the West, with a collaborative strategic planning process to be initiated in the coming months to formalize these future paths over the next two, five, and ten years.
