The Commission received an update from the Wyoming Office of Tourism regarding marketing initiatives, destination development funding, and visitor management strategies. Discussions with the Big Horn Citizens for Economic Development focused on workforce housing projects, land acquisition for development, and strategies for attracting industry. The Commission reviewed and approved accounts payable and payroll items, authorized the purchase of office furniture for Public Health Nursing, and approved a Right of Way permit. Additionally, the Commission approved a license transfer for Meadowlark Lodge and election judge pay rates, while tabling a corrective salary resolution pending legal advice. An executive session was held to discuss potential litigation with no action taken.

The board discussed several infrastructure projects, including bridge and culvert replacements on Red Gulch Road and a ROW permit for a water line installation. Executive sessions were held to address contractual, litigation, and personnel matters. The Prevention Coordinator reviewed the County Prevention Program work plan, and updates were provided regarding Airport minimum standards. Additionally, updates were provided by the Fair Board regarding sponsorships and planning efforts.

The board approved a notice regarding the Sheriff vacancy and received updates on Engineering and Road & Bridge projects, including bridge replacements and right-of-way agreements. Discussion occurred regarding the ownership transition of Pryor Mountain Engineering and potential fairgrounds concerns. The commissioners approved an airport search RFP, discussed potential reduction in matching requirements with WYDOT, and authorized the relocation of county equipment using auction funds. Accounts payable and payroll were approved. Additionally, the board approved funding for problem gambling prevention, a cash handling policy for Public Health, salary adjustments for maintenance staff, and an objection letter regarding the Medicine Wheel Historic Preservation Plan.
