Utah Office of Inspector General of Medicaid Services Strategic Plan 2016-2020
This 5-year Strategic Plan and Operational Framework for the Utah Office of Inspector General of Medicaid Services aims to guide the Office's operations and standards. Its primary mission is to identify fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicaid system, determine root causes, and recommend policy and procedural improvements. The plan outlines four key objectives: organizing for success, developing the team, improving stakeholder relations, and incorporating new methods for identifying fraud, waste, and abuse. Ultimately, it seeks to establish the UOIG as Utah's trusted voice in Medicaid oversight.
