BoardBrazosport Independent School District Board of Trustees Regular Meeting
The board meeting included extensive recognitions for student and staff achievements in music, athletics, and academic programs, as well as awards for school-based organizations. The Board reorganized its officers for the 2019-2020 term and conducted a public hearing regarding federally funded programs for the upcoming school year. Additional actions included the selection of TASB delegates, approval of the 2019-2020 Compensation Plan, authorization of additional personnel funding, and approval of a dual credit agreement with Brazosport College. The Board also reviewed reports on budget assumptions, CTE certification updates, teacher attendance, student literacy performance, and construction progress for bond programs.
