Western Local Board of Education Regular Meeting
The Board approved the employment of various personnel and coaching contracts for upcoming seasons. A one-time salary increase for all employees for December was authorized. The Board accepted several resignations and approved various monetary and material donations. Extensive NEOLA policy updates were adopted, and the substitute teacher and aide list for the school year was approved. Financial adjustments were made, including a raise to bus driver extra duty pay and an increase for non-employee substitute pay. The Superintendent provided updates regarding facility projects, such as bus conversions and equipment for the Vocational Agriculture room, as well as various student program developments, grant applications, and community connection initiatives.
