The Strategic Plan for MCCNH focuses on five strategic initiatives for 2016-2021. These include prioritizing student progress by encouraging goal setting, providing comprehensive advising, and measuring learning outcomes; maximizing faculty and staff success through professional development, mentorship, recognition of achievements, and wellness programs; fostering college-wide communication by utilizing the College's Communication Plan and engaging constituents in institutional planning; strengthening community partnerships through advisory committees, articulation agreements, and collaborations with non-profit and community groups; and stimulating innovation and growth by promoting the college's unique qualities, encouraging faculty and staff development, practicing responsible financial stewardship, and optimizing the use of facilities and technology.
