Roger Williams University School Of Law Celebration
The event celebrated the publication of the second volume of the 'Integrating Doctrine and Diversity Speaker Series' book. Key discussions involved comparing the second volume, which focuses on the second and third years of legal education beyond the first year, to the first volume. Panelists discussed the organization of the new volume into four parts covering general curriculum ideas, race and the law courses, professional responsibility, and specific upper-level courses. The discussion highlighted the practical and actionable nature of the essays, the involvement of both established and newer scholars, and the relevance of the content for faculty development, academic deans, and even the judiciary concerning community engagement and modernizing the justice system.
