Cochise County Opioid Settlement Advisory Committee Meeting
The committee reviewed an overview of Open Meeting Laws and the status of opioid settlement revenues and expenditure limits. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to evaluating various funding proposals, including peer navigator positions, a peer support specialist, community recovery navigators, detention health nursing staff, narcotics testing equipment, and behavioral health diversion programs. The committee ultimately recommended funding for all presented proposals and discussed procedures for future funding requests and multi-year support.
