Regular Board Meeting
The meeting included recognitions of students of the month, rising stars, and fine arts students. The district was recognized by the Mexican-American School Boards Association (MASBA) for its mental health initiative and for the superintendent's leadership. A public hearing was held, and a speaker shared his gratitude for having a school named after him. Updates were provided on the construction of the central office and boardroom, including signage, exterior materials, paving, landscaping, and interior finishes. The certificate of occupancy was received. The next steps include furniture installation, access control completion, technology issue resolution, and planning the move to the new facility.
