The meeting addressed the approval of monthly claims. Under staff comments, the Chairman noted that the Christmas parade was exceptionally good and that concrete would be poured at the corner of Don Tyler and Shawnee on Tuesday.

The Dewey City Council meeting included discussions and votes on several ordinances, including those related to threats of violence, misuse of emergency services, hands-free zones in school and construction areas, and amendments to the bond and fine schedule for municipal criminal courts. The council also approved a resolution amending the 2025-2026 fiscal year budget and agreed to surplus a 2012 Dodge Charger to be donated to the Town of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Additionally, there was a public hearing regarding a re-zoning request for a property on E. 5th St., which was ultimately not approved.

The Dewey City Council held a regular scheduled meeting. The council discussed and approved amending the 2025-2026 Special Fire Budget, authorizing an election in April 2026, and appointing Spencer Magana to the Dewey Economic Development Authority. Additionally, the Fire Chief inquired about purchasing a fire engine from the City of Bartlesville.

The meeting included discussions and decisions on several key items, such as the approval of claims. Plans for the sewer crossing south of the city will be submitted to ODOT, after approval the city will go out for bid for the boring. The annual tree lighting event was announced.

The meeting included the acceptance of minutes from the previous public works meeting. There was a discussion regarding new business that arose after the agenda was posted. The session also provided an opportunity for citizens' input and unscheduled personal appearances. Additionally, there were comments from the Chairman, Trustees, and Staff.
