Newman University Action Plan 2021-2027

Newman University commits to participate in Pope Francis' 7-Year Journey Towards Integral Ecology. The university will develop a Laudato Si' Action Plan to advance seven key goals: Respond to the Cry of the Earth, Respond to the Cry of the Poor, Foster Ecological Economics, Adopt a Sustainable Lifestyle, Offer Ecological Education, Develop Ecological Spirituality, and Support Local Communities. This initiative aims for the university to become a recognized Laudato Sí University, with annual progress reporting and a final celebration of accomplishments.
