Additionally, the board deliberated on a special permit for a home-based business, a variance for a single-family dwelling setback, a marijuana testing laboratory, and a residential cluster development. Final business included granting special permits and variances for several of the discussed projects and reviewing administrative correspondence.

The commission discussed various traffic-related items, including the status of previous agenda items, website updates, and contact lists. A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to defining the scope and procedures of the Traffic Study Commission, specifically regarding its role as an advisory body. The commission reviewed several site-specific traffic requests, including dangerous conditions on Mendon Road, speed limit signage at the North Attleboro border, pedestrian safety and crosswalk signage at Tiffany Street and Commerce Way, stop sign implementation at Oak Street and Benefit Street, and traffic signal timing issues at Pleasant Street and Lindsay Street. Recommendations for these items were proposed for referral to the Traffic Committee.

The agenda includes several licensing requests: a live entertainment license for The Barn Food LLC, one-day wine/beer service licenses for events hosted by Turner Bros. LLC and the Attleboro Arts Museum, and a Farmer's Market permit for Kilombo de Pradinas, LLC to sell wine.

The commission reviewed operational and revenue updates for the zoo, discussed ongoing and upcoming educational programs, and evaluated potential partnerships with various educational institutions. The park report covered spring cleanup initiatives, tree planting projects, staff recruitment needs, and the status of state-funded capital improvement projects, including the L. G. Balfour Riverwalk and repairs to park facilities. Furthermore, the commission reviewed and approved various permit applications for community events, graduation parties, and wedding ceremonies.
