Legislative and Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes

The committee meeting addressed various operational updates including an update from Tyler Technologies and reports from Animal Control regarding service calls and incidents. Discussions included Health Department updates such as vaccinations and community assessment surveys, as well as solid waste enforcement and recycling program activities. Financial updates for the solid waste fund and recycling program were presented. Additionally, the committee reviewed and approved ambulance service monthly claims and discussed the Director's Report, which highlighted a record number of patient contacts. The committee also considered a new Paramedic Training Reimbursement Policy aimed at aiding EMT recruitment.
