Fresno City College Strategic Plan
This strategic plan outlines Fresno City College's commitment to advancing Black and African American student success and achieving racial equity through its Black Serving Institution (BSI) designation. It is structured around three core goals: 'Start Strong' to clarify educational paths and increase early success metrics for Black and African American students; 'Stay Strong' to foster a supportive and engaging environment, improve persistence, and expand opportunities; and 'Finish Strong' to ensure students achieve their educational and career goals, including transfer and completion. The plan emphasizes a culture of anti-racism and social justice, supported by dedicated staffing, programmatic initiatives, and the development of a 2025-2028 Student Equity Plan, aiming to close achievement gaps and create a culturally responsive campus climate.
