The committee reviewed the General Fund Treasurer's report and approved bills. Reports included updates on student achievements, such as competitions and community involvement, and upcoming school events, ceremonies, and field trips. Several policies were presented for first reading, while others were formally approved. Financial actions included the recommendation of the 2026-2027 budget, approval of the school's comprehensive plan, and acceptance of the audit report. Additionally, the board approved travel for students to attend state competitions and authorized personnel actions, including the hiring of a substitute teacher and a teaching assistant.

The board discussed several items including a review of the 2026-2027 proposed budget and the acceptance of the Claims Auditor Exception Report. Appointments were approved for a long-term substitute teacher, various substitute staff positions, and a driver education instructor for the summer session. The board also approved extra-curricular appointments, designated emergency volunteer coaches, and authorized a revision to the current school calendar regarding unused emergency days. Additional actions included accepting a donation from the Worcester PTO, approving an agreement for the operation of the school-based health center, and setting administrative budget and board member election procedures for BOCES. Finally, the board adopted the district budget for the upcoming school year, approved the property tax report card, and scheduled the annual organizational meeting.

This strategic plan, informed by "The Pioneering Spirit: Pursuit of WT 125" and "WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World," outlines seven key goals. These goals focus on enhancing the academic and campus experiences of all students, becoming a regional research university, increasing enrollment through recruitment and degree attainment, and enhancing the digital experience. Additionally, the plan aims to strengthen existing and create new strategic relationships, and meet the employment needs of the Texas Panhandle and beyond.
