The meeting included reports on enrollment increases, strategic plan development, and the rollout of salary equalization. The Luecht Historical Collection was presented, and a visit from SIU leadership was announced to discuss collaboration. Updates were provided on facilities, including the Foglia CATI art installation and classrooms, Makerspace and FabLab, and other construction/renovation projects. A presentation on High Impact Faculty Practices was given. Preliminary December financial statements were reviewed. Board members discussed the Foglia CATI tours, the student speaker at Winter Commencement, and potential impacts of post-election executive actions on the college community, including support for undocumented students and families.

The board report discusses the Ferrilli Support Services for Recruit Agreement. The agreement ensures the Ellucian Recruit program, which is critical for prospective students applying to the College, remains up-to-date and available. Ferrilli will provide services to update and optimize Recruit, keep it current, and troubleshoot issues. The support agreement includes monthly maintenance and 24x7 monitoring.

The meeting included updates on renovation projects around campus and a discussion on communication and conflict resolution training for administrators. The proposed 2025-2030 MCC Strategic Plan was presented and discussed. There were questions about the FabLab and an update on the University Center at MCC. A possible donor to the Foundation was shared. Daniela was congratulated on her new role as the CAO.

The February financial statements were reviewed. Board members discussed the success of the SIU event, the STEM competition, and the possibility of Community Colleges having baccalaureate degrees.
