Several notices of motion were served for future consideration regarding municipal board endorsements, voting thresholds, and hookah establishment signage requirements.

This Master Plan outlines the strategic direction for Strathcona County Emergency Services (SCES) from 2023 to 2035. It focuses on anticipating and navigating future challenges and opportunities while balancing service delivery with fiscal realities amidst community growth. The plan aims for a transformation towards proactive, preventative, and mitigative activities, guided by the 5E's framework of Community Risk Reduction. Key strategic goals include fostering a ready and able workforce, promoting a healthy culture, achieving service excellence, strengthening collaborative partnerships, and ensuring a safe community, with the overarching vision of making Strathcona County the safest community in Canada.
