The Board of Regents meeting focused on a wide array of administrative, academic, and capital project approvals. Key actions included the approval of project scopes, budgets, and construction services for numerous campus facilities across the Texas A&M University System. The Board also approved amendments to the FY 2024–FY 2028 Capital Plan, authorized real estate transactions, and granted academic tenure to faculty at several institutions. Furthermore, the meeting addressed updates to system policies regarding academic freedom, tenure, risk management, and student conduct. Several new degree programs were approved for authorization, and various campus spaces were officially named. Additionally, administrative authorizations were granted for executive contract negotiations, the establishment of research institutes, and peace officer appointments.

The Board of Regents conducted a special meeting to discuss personnel matters related to the presidential search for Texas A&M University. The board deliberated in executive session before reconvening in open session to officially name Dr. Susan Ballabina as the sole finalist for the position of President of Texas A&M University. Additionally, the board expressed gratitude to the outgoing Interim President for his leadership during the transition.

The Board of Regents held a special meeting to discuss personnel matters specifically related to the search for the President of Texas A&M University. The board convened in an executive session to deliberate on legal and personnel candidates before reconvening to adjourn the meeting.

The Board discussed and approved several items, including the authorization to negotiate a ground lease at the RELLIS Campus, approval of the project scope and construction budget for the Athletics Complex at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and an amendment to the A&M System Capital Plan to increase the budget and relocate the Meat Sciences & Technology Center project for Texas A&M AgriLife Research. Additionally, the Board approved the appointment of Dr. Alyssa M. Kiesow as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for Texas A&M University-Victoria.

The board meeting included a presentation and update regarding admissions for Texas A&M University. Additionally, the Board received a presentation concerning the system's Nuclear Security Office.
