The board convened a special meeting to address a resolution of censure concerning the conduct of a council member. The session included a debate regarding whether to grant the member additional time to deliver an apology, which was ultimately rejected by the board. The primary focus was a formal motion to censure the member and suspend him from committee assignments, with board members referencing policy violations and a failure to discharge official duties in good faith during a previous meeting.
