Assumption University Strategic Plan 2024-2034
Assumption University's strategic plan, "Thrive," outlines a 10-year vision (2024-2034) focused on growth through distinction, not extinction by emulation. It addresses the false choice between liberal education and career preparation, emphasizing that the most enduring career skills are integrated with enduring ideas. The plan centers on three key visions: I. Infuse (cultivating a common understanding of the Assumptionist educational mission, leveraging the Foundations Program, and prioritizing faculty and staff morale); II. Focus (making all decisions based on what is best for the student, fostering positive relationships, and promoting student well-being); and III. Grow (growing enrollment, brand, partnerships, and philanthropy to achieve sustainable financial health). The plan includes specific, measurable goals and action items across these visions, aiming to enhance the student experience, strengthen the institution's financial standing, and expand access to a distinctive Assumption education.
