Town of Manlius Town Board Regular Board Meeting
The board meeting included several key actions and discussions. The board approved Abstract #20, set dates for upcoming public hearings regarding the 2012 Town budget, as well as fire and ambulance service contracts for the Fayetteville, Manlius, and Minoa Fire Protection Districts. The board authorized Plan H from POMCO, accepted a report on a bond for Phase II in Homewood, and approved a sander body purchase. Significant discussion occurred regarding RM zoning laws, including business square footage requirements, signage, and the Planning Board process. The board also established rules of decorum, suspended public comment periods while reviewing these rules, and entered executive session to discuss personnel matters, contract negotiations, and a county road plowing agreement.
