Big Stone County Board Regular Meeting
The Board approved the payment of financial claims and entered into a contract with ArcaSearch to digitize county records. Key actions included approving a Joint Powers Agreement for the Southwest Minnesota Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, amending a contract with Woodland Centers, updating the Medical Assistance overpayment policy, and approving the 2027 Purchase of Service Agreement with the Collaborative and Greater Minnesota Family Services. Additionally, the Board authorized participation in the Greater Minnesota Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program and increased funding for previously approved dilapidated structure applications. New staff members in the Social Services and Sheriff's departments were also introduced.
