Alabama 9-1-1 Board Regular Meeting
The board discussed several items including the acceptance of FY26 Q1-Q2 interim financial statements and approval of late legacy 9-1-1 cost reimbursements for Cherokee and Sumter counties. A strategy for two separate RFPs for NG9-1-1 procurement was authorized, alongside the approval of two new director-level job descriptions and an office lease renewal. Additionally, the board initiated formal rule-making processes for readiness and performance audits and guidelines for PSAP consolidation and dissolution, and reviewed the Q3 and Q4 meeting schedule.
