Daviess County Commission Minutes

The Commission meeting addressed several operational and financial matters. In Road and Bridge updates, the crew was reported to be finalizing bridge inspections and hauling rip rap for repairs. Old Business items included ongoing work for the Grand River HVAC mini-split separation project, continued updates to various County policies, and research status for 260th Street (pending MoDOT finalization) and Zane Avenue. Regarding Bridges, the Commission approved a motion for Howe Engineering to submit BRO applications for the next funding round and authorized signing the Authorization to Act As An Agent for McClure Engineering for BRO 002. New Business included a discussion with the Collector/Treasurer regarding features of The Hunter Group, LLC tax software system, with further information to be presented next week, and a meeting with personnel from the Sheriff's Department.
