Updates on the Crisis Alert System included planning for system upgrades, integrating larger strobe lights, and exploring integration with physical panic buttons. The district reported successfully passing three of six TEA intruder audits, and planning internal audits, inviting committee members to volunteer as simulated intruders. Ongoing safety maintenance requests were reviewed, covering repairs to radio antennas and repeaters, and replacement/repair of aging doors, alarm systems, strobes, and access control systems. The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Annex were confirmed as approved by TEA, and an updated Incident Command form was developed.
