Town Of Lillington Comprehensive Transportation Plan
The Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) directs the Town in future years towards a long-range vision of mobility, identifies specific projects for consideration with partnering agencies like NCDOT, and specifies how private development actions can support future roadways. The plan addresses existing conditions, transportation planning influences, and specific corridor recommendations for physical and policy improvements to enhance transportation mobility. It emphasizes key directions such as land use management, walkability, connectivity, addressing the singular river crossing, maintaining town character, and improving access to the north.
