The council held a regular session where they approved the consent calendar. They approved hiring Christopher Piper and Corey Henry as full-time Police Officers. The council also approved adopting Ordinance No. 1056 amending the definition of Dwelling. An update was given on all City projects. Reminders were announced regarding grass clippings on the road and trash cans needing to be removed from the street within 24 hours of pick up. The Code Enforcement Report, Public Works Report, and Financial Report were given and approved.

The Council meeting included discussions and actions on various topics such as issuing a Class "A" Beer and Liquor License to Blue Iguanas of Westlake, promoting police officers, and approving Resolution No. 3727 regarding a notice to bidders for the construction of a new public works building. An ordinance amending junked motor vehicles and junked items was introduced. Updates were provided on city projects and reminders were announced regarding grass clippings and trash can removal. Reports were given by the Police Chief, Fire Chief, and others. A presentation was made by Westlake High School Theatre to promote Disney's TARZAN.

The council discussed and approved a 90-day extension for a property project, resolutions for LGAP and CWEF funding, the issuance of sales tax bonds, and the purchase of natural gas. They also approved an engagement letter for the fiscal year audit, introduced ordinances related to fire department mitigation rates, records retention, and licensing regulations, and approved condemnation procedures for a property. Additionally, they approved hiring a new police officer and received updates on city projects and reports from various departments.
