The meeting included discussions and actions on various town matters. The board discussed the need for volunteers for the Bylaw Review Committee and shared community updates. Public hearings were held for pole locations on Richardson Street, Linwood Street, and Hazel Street, with approvals granted. Appointments were made to the 300th Anniversary Committee. The board approved plumbing and gas fees, declared surplus vehicles from the Police Department, and addressed a request for no parking on one side of Morrison Street. They also accepted "Lemire Way" as a street name. Preparations were discussed for the Fall Annual Town Meeting and the Special Town Meeting Warrant. The board affirmed the useful life of a fire engine for borrowing authorization. Additionally, a change of manager was approved for Retail Beverage Partners Uxbridge Inc., dba Liquor Aisle.

The meeting addressed various articles including bills of prior fiscal year, rescinding prior capital improvement article authorizations, FY 26 budget adjustments, Elm Street and Blackstone Street culvert improvement authorization to acquire permanent and temporary easements, rehabilitation of Route 16 authorization to acquire permanent and temporary easements, 105 Blackstone Street authorization to acquire grant of easement, 59 Hazel Street authorization to acquire grant of easement, authorization for contracts for term in excess of three years but not to exceed six years, special legislation, street acceptance for Tabor Road and Dew Lane.

The Finance Committee meeting included a public hearing and discussion of recommendations for articles on the Fall Annual Town Meeting Warrant, including items related to acquiring an easement for 59 Hazel Street, FY26 budget adjustments, establishing or amending fees and fines imposed by town departments, and adopting non-criminal disposition. The committee also reviewed recommendations and created commentary for the Fall Annual Town Meeting Warrant articles. Additionally, there was a discussion regarding rescinding prior capital improvement article authorizations and transferring unspent funds to the Capital Stabilization Fund, Water Enterprise Fund, and Sewer Enterprise Fund.

The Select Board reviewed and made recommendations on several articles for the Fall Annual Town Meeting warrant. These included rescinding prior capital improvement article authorizations, FY 26 budget adjustments, and authorizations to acquire permanent and temporary easements for the Elm Street and Blackstone Street culvert improvement, as well as the rehabilitation of Route 16. Additionally, authorizations to acquire grants of easement for 105 Hazel Street and 59 Hazel Street were discussed. The board also considered authorization for contracts exceeding three years, special legislation, the establishment/amendment of fees/fines imposed by town departments, the adoption of non-criminal disposition, and street acceptances for Tabor Road and Dew Lane.

The DPW is requesting articles to be added to the warrant for the 2025 Fall Town Meeting, including authorization to acquire permanent and temporary easements for the Elm Street and Blackstone Street culvert improvement, and the rehabilitation of Route 16. Additionally, the Planning Board voted to recommend to the Board of Selectmen that Tabor Road be accepted at the Fall Town Meeting, 2025. An assessment review was conducted for Dew Lane, noting the condition of the roadway and various issues such as obscured street signs and the absence of a stop sign at the Douglas Street intersection.
